April 24, 2007. Three generations of a bingo playing family from Llanelli, in Wales, came up to London to help the Bingo industry deliver a player petition of 230,000 signatures to Number 10 Downing Street, asking the Government to STOP DESTROYING MY BINGO.
The family said “Bingo is at the centre of many families and communities and closing clubs will have a devastating impact on the local areas. For all three generations of my family, Bingo is an opportunity to go out together and enjoy the excitement of the game equally, even win a little. It is part of our family – we would be lost without it.”
