Bingo Loves Variety
Following a very successful first year in 2015, with the industry raising over £250,000 for Variety, the children's charity, the Association committed to a second year.
With funds raised in 2015 already starting to make a real impact in the lives of individuals and the work of local organisations we have been able to make a number of presentations around the country:
Gibside School Whickham receives a much-needed bus, thanks to The Bingo Association, its Members and bingo club players from across the country: actress Denise Welch helped do the honours.
With key fundraising for 2016 now complete and another cheque for over £250,000 presented to Variety ambassador Angela Rippon OBE, at the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 19th October, The Association has raised over £500,000 in two years and Miles Baron announced at the reception that the Association would be going for a third year!
